Founder
Hanny Mousavi is the founder of HANNY Beauty.
Originally from Paris, France, Hanny brings a background in fashion, wellness, media, and brand development. Since relocating to the United States in 2011, she has spent her career building brands, developing partnerships, and creating meaningful connections between products and consumers.
Beauty has always been a part of her life, but the inspiration behind HANNY Beauty emerged during a deeply personal period of healing and self-discovery. After navigating years of survival mode, Hanny began reconnecting with herself through intentional acts of skincare. What started as simple moments of self-care became a powerful reminder that beauty is about far more than appearance. In a season marked by healing and rebuilding, these rituals helped her step out of survival and back into a sense of abundance, reconnecting with the parts of herself that had been neglected amid the demands and challenges of everyday life.
As she rediscovered the importance of caring for herself, she came to see beauty not as vanity, but as a meaningful expression of self-worth.
The idea for HANNY Beauty began when Hanny came across an old bottle of rose water that had been sent to her years earlier by her late mother from France. Unable to find the product anywhere in the United States, she reached out directly to the brand. What began as a personal search for a beloved product quickly evolved into a larger vision.
After rediscovering the quality, heritage, and effectiveness of the brand, Hanny recognized an opportunity to introduce exceptional international beauty products to the American market. Through her experience in branding, business development, and consumer engagement, she secured an exclusive partnership and laid the foundation for what would become HANNY Beauty.
Today, HANNY Beauty reflects her vision of creating a smart distribution platform that helps exceptional international brands successfully enter and grow within the United States while bringing meaningful beauty experiences to consumers.
